The last time we felt this mix of “oh wow, this is huge” and “what on earth is happening” was in 1994 when the “information superhighway” changed everything and we realised we could probably make a living building stuff on the internet. We weren’t wrong. Today, we’re just as excited, suddenly there’s a lot of stuff to figure out.

Aperic exists because we think this moment matters.

It’s genuinely chaotic out there. We’re being bombarded with news about Artificial Intelligence, it’s everywhere. Colleagues and friends are talking about it. CEOs are asking “Where’s our AI strategy? How are we going to implement AI within the entire organisation?“.

Maybe your only experience with it so far is asking ChatGPT to rewrite an email. If you’re feeling a little in the dark about the where all this is going, you are not alone.

AI is going to reshape how we work, how decisions get made, and how businesses run day-to-day and we need a space to figure it all out properly. We’re taking decades of experience running businesses and applying all that hard-earned wisdom—the wins and the “let’s never do that again” moments—to this new world.

We’re optimistic about where this leads. But we’re also pragmatic in the sense that we know AI is not magic. It doesn’t replace good thinking, experience or judgement.

We’re going to practice what we preach.

We’re prototyping, building, and experimenting – not just in tech, but across everything: business processes, accounting, marketing and decision-making. If AI can help us see our own company more clearly, move with more confidence, or remove friction, we want to understand how.

We aren’t building theoretical models; we’re building working systems that give us real visibility. And we’re going to document all of it. We’re showing our work because that learning has value—for us, certainly, but hopefully for you, too.

If you’re curious, cautious, or or just quietly overwhelmed by how fast things are moving, you’re in good company. We’re here to explore, build, and learn in the open.

Let’s figure it out together.
